The Fume Hood should be chemical and heat resistant and Non-Corrosive. It should be designed as per NABL norms strictly and should be completely noiseless and vibration free . It must be completely leak proof and must maintain a negative pressure inside the chamber. It should be designed for distillation and high temperature reaction involving acid.
Inner Dimension (mm) - 1200 (L) x 700 (D) x 1100 (H)
M.O.C – Outer material should be chemical resistant metallic GI / MS with multi layer powder coating. The interior must have minimum 3 layers explosion proof lining, resistant to extremely toxic and corrosive fumes as well as heat resistant up to minimum 700°C flame heat up to 2 hr. Inner main surface having coating mixture of oxy-carbide (tantalum carbide, hafnium carbide and calcium silicate)
All corners & edges of the fume hood must be leak proof.
The work top the fume hood inside the chamber must be heat & chemical resistant Granite 18mm with 15mm skirting on all side to avoid skirting.
Sash: Full View, Chemical and leak proof Toughened Glass panel with shutter and vertical sliding glass. The bottom panel of the sash should have gasket. It must provide facility to hang litmus paper to test leakage and the air contamination.

The system should be complete in all respect with FRP ducting. Complete installation including ducting shall be within the scope of supplier.
